They say a picture tells a thousand words and so I’m going to let the pictures do the talking for the winners of Round 7, the Leaderboards, the Season Finale Draw, The Christmas Draw and the special Ladies Draw. First and foremost – the Round 7 winners (and we had a few, so bear with me):

Ladies Brutto 1st place went to Alison Taylor for an impressive 33 Brutto points. She won a 100.- CHF voucher for Sundrani Jewellers. Prize was presented by Karima, Owner of Sundrani Jewellers

Ladies Brutto 2nd place went to Bea Meier with an equally impressive 24 Brutto points. She won 2 days passes for the Winter 2013/2014 season for Savognin Bergbahn.

Mens Brutto first place was snapped up by Mark Robertson with 31 Brutto points. He claimed the 100.- CHF shares voucher (Fritz Nols AG) presented by CEO of DaVinci Invest – Hendrik Klein

Mens Brutto 2nd place went to Murray Sparks for his scoring – 27 Brutto points. He also won 2 days passes for the Winter 2013/2014 season for Savognin Bergbahn.

1st place in the Netto 0-17,9 category went to Jacques Emery. He chose the 80.- CHF simluator voucher for Golfnow. Prize presented by Nicole Grünenfelder Fuchs from Gold Sponsor Stamford Consultants

2nd place in the Netto 0-17,9 category went to Peter Hossli. He chose the 100.- CHF voucher for our Golf Travel Partner – Golf Butler.

3rd place in the Netto 0-17,9 category went to Mark Broughton. He won the 1 months membership at Holmes Place.

1st place in the Netto 18-PR category went to Nina Zweifel for an impressive 42 Netto points. And as she started out the day with PR, this bagged her not only an impressive new HCP of 33.0 but she won a half hour lesson with PGA Pro Brian Murphy for her overall scoring at the top of the Netto category, but also a great standbag from TaylorMade for being the PR players with the highest Netto score on the day. 2nd place in the Netto 18-PR category went to Peter Schmidle for an impressive 41 Netto points which brings his starting HCP at the start of 2013 of PR down to an impressive 32.5. Peter choose the 100.- CHF voucher from Sibler as his prize.

3rd place in the Netto 18-PR category went to Heidi Meiller for an equally impressive 41 Netto points.She chose a brand new standbag from TaylorMade as her prize.

4th place in the Netto 18-PR category went to Rainer Bendel for an impressive 40 Netto points.Like Nina and Peter he started out the year as PR and now sports an impressive 29 HCP –  great season Rainer! He received a Victorinox Golftool as his prize.

5th place in the Netto 18-PR category went to Andrea Neitzel for her 39 Netto points. She also received a Victorinox Golftool as her prize.

Nearest to the Pin on hole 9 was won by Gail Hess. She won a 50.- CHf voucher for U-nique- Prize presented by Demee Koch, Owner at U-nqiue.

Alison, already a winner in the Brutto category, bagged the prize for Ladies Longest Drive, winning a Victorinox Golftool

Alison also won the Nearest to the Pin competition on the 18th hole with an impressive 0.99m shot

Murray wasn’t just a winner in the Brutto categroy as well. He was the final person to move the marker for Mens Longest Drive on the 15th fairway. He won a Victorinox Golftool.

Birdies, Birdies, Birdies, such a lot of birdies and a few of them even had 2.

Oh and Jürgen managed an Eagle on the par 4 12th with an impressive 2nd shot from the rough. He bagged a one years abonnement for Golf Leader. Prize presented by Daniel Meier CEO of Golfpoint Urdorf.

Daniel himself got lucky in the “Fin Bec  Back 9 challenge”, one of three lucky winners on the day. He takes home 2 bottles of Heida Champagne worth 60.- CHF. Prizes in the “Fin Bec Back 9 Challenge” catgory sponsored by our official Wine Sponsor – Fin Bec Fine Wines.

Rainer found himself winning second place of the “Fin Bec Back 9 Challenge” and also took home 2 bottles of Heida Champagne

Siegi bagged 3rd place in the “Fin Bec Back 9 Challenge” and won 2 bottles of Fin Bec Cornalin

Lucky Loosers on the day included Alex who takes home some useful golf balls. Prize presented by Manuel Neiss, Neiss Bucher Architects GMBH, Lucky Looser and Advertising sponsor 2013

Daniel also gained some new golf balls.

Ruth Wolf won in the spot prize section – a voucher from Unique. Prize presented by Daniel Meier, CEO Golfpoint Urdorf.

Last spot prize of 2013 went to Nina who won a day out at Golfpoint Urdorf.

So finally with all the round prizes given out, we slowely but surely progressed to the leaderboard categories. For the uniniatiated: each season Golf4Fun has various leaderboards where players gain points over every round they compete in. In 2013 there was a Tigers Leaderboard (based on Brutto and Netto scoring of all players including PR players) as well as a Rabbits Leaderboard (based on netto scoring of all players who had a PR HCP in their 1st tournament with Golf4Fun in 2013).

And in reverse order, our roll call of 2013 Rabbits are as follows:

In 7th place overall for the 2013 Season, Antoinette Vangou takes home 2 bottles of Fin Bec Mer white wine, for our official Wine Partner – Fin Bec Fin Wines

Getting later and darker, we finally progressed to the overall Season Raffle, which this year included two very special raffles alongside the 10 main raffle prizes. For every tournament a golf4fun’er attended, he/she receives one ticket for entry into these raffles. At the season final, we draw the winning tickets. And this year we had some very special helping hands who had the all important job of picking the winning names out:

But that wasn’t all, as we had two late announced extra raffle draws – more work for our little helpers:

Prizes all presented, the sack of goodies now lay empty. All that was left was to wish everyone a good evening. Sad goodbyes that the season is over for 2013, eager anticipation of the winter season (Golf4Fun continues on over the winter months with Indoor Golf, Weekly Training on Sundays, Short Game Championship, and some Raclettes and Fondues to satisfy those cheese urges) and the announced 2014 dates.
