The Driver is used to create maximum distance while getting in the fairway. We tend to get out of position to try hit the ball with this longer club. All thast is needed is to create a good set up to encourage a more natural efficient swing. All that is required is to use the club as an extension of our body. Simply set up with your driver with your front foot (left foot for the right handed golfer) elevated on a step or a golf ball basket. This straight away makes you take a wider stance for extra balance, the big muscles in the upper body now behind the ball with the club now at full extension from the arms. Simply make some practice swings trying to feel balanced wide, and your swing creating a circular motion naturally around the body. Once you have developed a good feeling for this Tee one up as normal and go with the flow.
