Having studied at the college of Arts and Technology in Newcastle, England, completing a two year diploma in photography, this was the spring board to a career as a freelance wedding and portrait photographer. Long before digital photography was born, meant the pressure and importance of capturing the best images and delivering a job well done first time was much more intense. It also meant learning to deliver a professional service each and every time. I'm not happy with second best so why should you be. My aim is to capture all elements presented to me. The atmosphere, the ambiance and feel.I endeavour to capture the beauty of the subject but at the same time, capturing that persons inner beauty, strength of character, their persona. This means getting to know the subject over a short period of time. Each person is naturally unique. My job as photographer is to hone in on that character, which can only be achieved by using a friendly relaxed approach, by being open myself for two way communication and using some clever techniques to bring out the best in each Person. Only then can I capture what I describe as someones 'inner Image'.
